Who We Are

Destiny Despite Diagnosis is a public health organization, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals who suffer from chronic illnesses. Destiny Despite Diagnosis provides education, advocacy services and direct service programs that address the needs of individuals who have chronic illnesses.  The goal of Destiny Despite Diagnosis is to raise awareness of these illnesses and diseases in the community while providing resources for effected individuals and their families that help them live well and independent lives

Destiny Despite Diagnosis understanding the need for all members of the community to live healthy, complete, balanced and well lives. Our programs have evolved to include sickle cell awareness and education and direct programs and resources that help all members of the community, especially youth and individuals with chronic illnesses.
